With Keyless Entry System

NOTE: On models equipped with keyless entry system, control unit input tests are performed at radio (audio unit) connectors. If fault is found, control unit must be replaced.

Remove radio from instrument panel. Disconnect both 16-pin harness connectors from audio unit. Using a DVOM, perform power door lock unit input tests. See Fig 3 - Fig 5 . If all input test results are okay, inspect connector and terminals for damage and proper fit. If connector is okay and power door lock still malfunctions, replace power door lock control unit.
