Pcm Reset Procedure/Clearing Diagnostic TTROUBLE Codes

CAUTION: Before disconnecting battery, obtain anti-theft code for radio. After battery is reconnected, the word CODE will appear on radio display. Enter 5-digit anti-theft code using select buttons and radio will begin working. If code is entered wrong 10 times, leave radio on at least one hour and enter code correctly. Any time radio power is lost, pre-selected radio stations will have to be set. For more information, see owners manual.

Powertrain Control Module (PCM) can be reset, which clears DTCs, using a Honda PGM tester or OBD-II scan tool following manufacturer's instructions.

DTCs can also be cleared by removing specified fuse for 10 seconds from fuse/relay box. Turn ignition off. On Accord and Odyssey, remove No. 13 CLOCK BACK-UP (7.5-amp) fuse from passenger-side underdash fuse/relay box. On Civic, remove No. 12 BACK-UP (7.5-amp) fuse from underhood fuse/relay block. On CR-V, remove No. 14 BACK-UP (7.5-amp) fuse from underhood fuse/relay block. On Prelude, remove No. 13 CLOCK RADIO (7.5-amp) fuse from underhood fuse/relay block. On S2000, remove No. 16 BACK-UP (7.5-amp) fuse from underdash fuse/relay block. After replacing fuse, reset radio anti-theft code, pre-selected radio stations and clock.
