Keyless Receiver Unit
- Remove rear seat. Remove left quarter trim panel. Disconnect keyless receiver unit 8-pin harness connector. Check keyless receiver unit harness connector for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. If problem exists, repair as necessary and retest system. If connector is okay, go to next step.
- With keyless receiver unit connector disconnected, perform keyless receiver unit input tests at indicated connector terminals. See Fig 1
. If any input test is not within specification, locate and repair problem, then recheck system. If input tests are within specification, test next suspected control unit.
