July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Door Multiplex Control Unit

  1. Remove driver's door panel. See DOOR PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect door multiplex control unit 20-pin harness connector. Check door multiplex control unit harness connector and terminals. If problem exists, repair connector and retest system. If problem does not exist, go to next step.
  2. With door multiplex control unit harness connector disconnected, perform input tests at indicated door multiplex control unit harness connector terminals. See Fig 1 . Go to next step.
  3. Connect door multiplex control unit harness connector. Perform input tests by backprobing door multiplex control unit connector terminals. See Fig 2 . If any input test is not within specification, locate and repair problem, then recheck system. If input tests are within specification, test next suspected control unit.
