Toe-In Adjustment: Insight

- Secure steering wheel in straight-ahead position. Check rear wheel toe-in. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . If rear toe-in is not within specification, check for bent or damaged suspension components. Replace faulty components. Recheck rear toe-in.
- Measure front toe-in. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . If adjustment is needed, loosen inner tie rod lock nut, then loosen outer tie rod lock nut while holding tie rod end. See Fig 1 .
- Adjust front toe-in by rotating adjusting nut until front toe-in is correct. Tighten inner and outer tie rod lock nuts, ensure that aligning marks on tie rod end are aligned. Adjust position of tire rod end if necessary, ensure toe-in setting does not change. Tighten lock nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
