DTC P1106: BARO Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Problem

  1. Perform PCM reset procedure. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE RESET PROCEDURE . Hold engine speed at 3000 RPM under no load condition with transaxle in Neutral or Park until radiator fan comes on. Allow engine to idle. Connect SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) to 2-pin service check connector located behind right side of center console.
  2. Test drive vehicle with transmission in "2" position (4th gear on M/T). Accelerate for 5 seconds with Wide Open Throttle (WOT). If DTC P1106 is not indicated, problem is intermittent. System is okay at this time. If DTC P1106 is indicated, substitute a known-good PCM and retest. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original PCM. Perform final procedure.
