Shift Lock Solenoid Replacement
- Remove the front console (see FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
).
- Disconnect the shift lock solenoid connector.
- Pry the shift lock solenoid clamp (A) with a screwdriver, and remove it.

- Remove the shift lock solenoid.
- Install the shift lock solenoid plunger (B) and plunger spring (C) in the new shift lock solenoid (D).
- Install the shift lock solenoid by aligning the joint of the shift lock solenoid plunger with the tip of the shift lock stop (E).
- Secure the shift lock solenoid with the solenoid clamp.
- Connect the shift lock solenoid connector.

).
