DTC B1061: Relay Control Module Lost Communication with Gauge Control Module (A/T message)

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
  3. Wait for 6 seconds or more.
  4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    Is DTC B1061 indicated? 

    1. YES  - Go to step 5.
    2. NO  - Intermittent failure, the communication line is OK at this time.
  5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    Are DTCs B1008, B1808, B1956, B2011, and B2061 also indicated? 

    1. YES  - Go to gauge control module input test (see GAUGE CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST ).
    2. NO  - Go to relay control module input test (see RELAY CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST ).
