Passenger's Multiplex Control Unit

  1. Remove right kick panel. Disconnect passenger's multiplex control unit 14-pin harness connector. Check passenger's multiplex control unit connectors for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. If problem exists, repair as necessary and retest system. If connectors are okay, go to next step.
  2. Connect passenger's multiplex control unit connector. Perform input tests by backprobing indicated connector terminals. See Fig 1 . If any input test is not within specification, locate and repair problem, then recheck system. If input tests are within specification, substitute known-good passenger's multiplex control unit and retest system.
