Master Power Vacuum Sensor

The master power vacuum sensor converts brake booster vacuum into an electrical signal input to PCM. During Auto-Stop operation, Integrated Motor Assist system monitors power brake vacuum reserve. If vacuum reserve is below a specified level and transaxle is in Neutral, engine will restart to replenish vacuum supply for safe operation of the brake system.
