Rear Window Wiper Control Unit Input Test
- Remove the right rear side trim panel. See Fig 1
.
- Disconnect the 12-pin connector from the rear window wiper control unit.
- Inspect connector terminals for damage or corrosion. Repair as necessary and retest system. If connector and terminals are okay, go to next step.
- Reconnect connector and use a DVOM to perform control unit input tests. See Fig 2
. If an input test indicates a problem, find and correct cause and retest system. If all input test results are okay, go to next step.
- Disconnect connector and perform input tests at connector. See Fig 3
. If an input test indicates a problem, find and correct cause and retest system. If all input test results are okay, the rear window wiper control unit must be faulty. Replace the rear window wiper control unit.
