Oil Pump Overhaul: Removal

  1. Remove the cam chain (see CAM CHAIN REMOVAL ).
  2. Remove the oil pump chain tensioner.

  3. Remove the baffle plate.

  4. Remove the three bolts securing the oil pump.

  5. Remove the oil pump (A), oil pump chain (B), and crankshaft sprocket (C).
