DTC B1150: Communication Bus Line Error

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).

Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
Wait for 6 seconds or more.
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1150 indicated?
1. YES - Go to step 5.
2. NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at the gauge control module connector A (30P), and at driver's under-dash fuse/relay box connector N (45P).
Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1000 also indicated?
1. YES - Troubleshoot DTC B1000.
2. NO - If only B1150 is indicated, replace the gauge control module.
