Rear Window Wiper Control Unit Input Test

Remove the right rear side trim panel. See Fig 1 .
Disconnect the 12-pin connector from the rear window wiper control unit.
Inspect connector terminals for damage or corrosion. Repair as necessary and retest system. If connector and terminals are okay, go to next step.
Reconnect connector and use a DVOM to perform control unit input tests. See Fig 2 . If an input test indicates a problem, find and correct cause and retest system. If all input test results are okay, go to next step.
Disconnect connector and perform input tests at connector. See Fig 3 . If an input test indicates a problem, find and correct cause and retest system. If all input test results are okay, the rear window wiper control unit must be faulty. Replace the rear window wiper control unit.
