Mainshaft Sensor: Service and Repair

Mainshaft Speed Sensor Replacement
1. Disconnect mainshaft speed sensor connector.





2. Remove the bolt securing the mainshaft speed sensor, then remove the mainshaft speed sensor (A) from the end cover.
3. Install the new O-ring (B) on the mainshaft speed sensor, then install the mainshaft speed sensor in the end cover. Do not allow dust or foreign particles to enter the transmission.
4. Check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, then connect the connector securely.
