Voice Guidance
The navigation unit transmits voice driving instructions while on route the destination.
The voice instructions come through the audio unit to the front speakers. The audio from the front speakers is muted whenever the navigation system is giving voice guidance commands. When the audio unit is on, the "AMP SW+B" wire is switched to high, telling the navigation that the audio unit is on. If the audio unit is off (low voltage on the "AMP SW+B"), the navigation unit places noise on the MUTE wire for 2 seconds to tell the audio unit to wake up so that it can accept voice guidance from the navigation unit.
