DTC P16C0: PCM A/T Control System Incomplete Update

NOTE:
  • Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review General Troubleshooting Information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
  • This code is indicated when PCM updating is incomplete, and can not be caused by a mechanical problem in the transmission.
  1. Update the A/T software in the PCM; K24Z1 engine (see PCM UPDATE ), K24Z6 engine (see PCM UPDATE ).
  2. Check whether the DTC P16C0 is indicated in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.

    Is DTC P16C0 indicated? 

    YES  -Replace the original PCM; K24Z1 engine (see PCM REPLACEMENT ), K24Z6 engine (see PCM REPLACEMENT ).

    NO  -PCM updating is complete.
