DTC 1401: Audio Error 1

NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ).
- This navigation DTC sets when there is a problem with the stereo amplifier.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
- Check that the cargo area temperature is between -4 °F (-20 °C) and 158 °F (70 °C).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back ON (II).
- Check for the hard error code (see HOW TO CHECK ERROR HISTORY (NAVIGATION DTCS)
).
Is DTC 1401 indicated?
YES -Check if the audio system (stereo amplifier) functions are working properly. If any problems are found, go to affected troubleshooting in audio service information.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
