DTC 41: Abnormal Signal Reception Error
NOTE:
Inspect for an aftermarket device interfering with the RF signal from the sensors when driving the vehicle.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (II).
- Make sure all four wheels are TPMS wheels with tire pressure sensors.
Are TPMS type wheels with tire pressure sensors mounted on the vehicle?
YES - Go to step 3.
NO - Install the TPMS wheel, and then memorize the pressure sensor ID with the HDS (see MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID ).
- Memorize the tire pressure sensor IDs with the HDS. Refer to MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID
Did each tire pressure sensor respond to the TPMS tool?
YES - The system is OK at this time, clear the DTC with the HDS.
NO - Substitute a known-good TPMS control unit: '07-08 MODELS , or '09-11 MODELS then go to step 4.
- Memorize the tire pressure sensor IDs with the HDS. Refer to MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID
Did each tire pressure sensor respond to the TPMS tool?
YES - Replace the original TPMS control unit: Refer to '07-08 MODELS , or '09-11 MODELS
NO - Do the troubleshooting for DTC 32, 34, 36, 38. Refer to DTC 32, 34, 36, 38: TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR TRANSMISSION FAILURE
