DTC 41: Abnormal Signal Reception Error

NOTE: Inspect for an aftermarket device interfering with the RF signal from the sensors when driving the vehicle.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (II).
  2. Make sure all four wheels are TPMS wheels with tire pressure sensors.

    Are TPMS type wheels with tire pressure sensors mounted on the vehicle? 

    YES  - Go to step  3.

    NO  - Install the TPMS wheel, and then memorize the pressure sensor ID with the HDS (see MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID  ).

  3. Memorize the tire pressure sensor IDs with the HDS. Refer to MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID 

    Did each tire pressure sensor respond to the TPMS tool? 

    YES  - The system is OK at this time, clear the DTC with the HDS.

    NO  - Substitute a known-good TPMS control unit: '07-08 MODELS , or '09-11 MODELS  then go to step 4.

  4. Memorize the tire pressure sensor IDs with the HDS. Refer to MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID 

    Did each tire pressure sensor respond to the TPMS tool? 

    YES  - Replace the original TPMS control unit: Refer to '07-08 MODELS , or '09-11 MODELS 

    NO  - Do the troubleshooting for DTC 32, 34, 36, 38. Refer to DTC 32, 34, 36, 38: TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR TRANSMISSION FAILURE
