Connecting Pipe Replacement
- Drain the engine coolant. See Coolant Replacement .
- Remove the intake manifold. See REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the heater hose (A) and the water bypass hose (B), then remove the connecting pipe mounting bolts (C), then remove the connecting pipe.
- Install the connecting pipe with a new O-ring (E), then connect the heater hose and the water bypass hose.
- Install the intake manifold. See INSTALLATION .
- Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system with the heater calve open. See step 7 in Coolant Replacement .
- Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
