Navigation Unit Inputs and Outputs for Connector C (16P)

2 RED RG L+ (Route guidance voice left positive) Left audio signal of voice guidance, and Voice Recognition (VR) prompts Audio signal 0.004-0.04 V If open: If voice activated, driver's door speaker and Left door tweeter buzz; if voice off, no effect If short to ground: If voice activated, driver's door speaker and Left door tweeter buzz; if voice off, no effect.

13 BRN HFL NAVI GUIDE (Navigation remote switches) Navigation voice control switch output 4-5 V (navigation TALK button pressed) 2.5-3 V (navigation BACK button pressed) If open: Steering wheel navigation TALK and navigation BACK buttons do not work.
If short to ground: Steering wheel navigation TALK, and navigation BACK buttons do not work.

(1) The shielded wires have a heat-shrink tube insulating the outside of the wire. The color of the insulating tube, typically black or dark gray, may not match the color of the wire listed on the schematic.
