Front Fog Light Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FRONT FOG LIGHT SWITCH 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance using an ohmmeter, and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in FRONT FOG LIGHT SWITCH .

        Standard 

        FRONT FOG LIGHT SWITCH

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1-2 Illumination circuit Below 1
        3-4 OFF 10 k or higher
        3-4 ON Below 1

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front fog light switch assembly.

    2. Check the illumination operation.
      1. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the illumination comes on.

        Standard: Illumination comes on. 

        If the illumination does not come on, replace the bulb.
