Map Light Assembly: Inspection

- INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
- Check the resistance.
- Measure the resistance using an ohmmeter, and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY .
Standard
MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLYTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1-2 OFF 10 k or higher 1-2 ON Below 1 If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly.
- Measure the resistance using an ohmmeter, and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY .
- Check the light operation.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and the battery positive (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the light comes on.
Standard: Light comes on.
If the light does not come on, replace the bulb.
- Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 1 and the battery positive (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the light comes on.
- Check the resistance.
