Stop Light Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance using an ohmmeter, and check the results in accordance with the value(s) in STOP LIGHT SWITCH .

        Standard 

        STOP LIGHT SWITCH

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1-2 Switch pin free Below 1
        3-4 Switch pin free 10 k or higher
        1-2 Switch pin pushed in 10 k or higher
        3-4 Switch pin pushed in Below 1

        If the result is not as specified, replace the stop light switch assembly.
