How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
  3. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION 

    SYMPTOM DOES NOT OCCUR (Go to step   4 ) 

    SYMPTOM OCCURS (Go to step   5 ) 

  4. SYMPTOM SIMULATION 
  5. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check the battery voltage.

    Standard Voltage: 11 to 14 V 

  6. DTC CHECK* 
    1. Check for cruise control system DTC output.

    DTC'S BEEN STORED (Go to step   7 ) 

    NO DTC OUTPUT (Go to step   8 ) 

  7. DTC TABLE 
  8. PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE 
  9. CIRCUIT INSPECTION* 
  10. TERMINALS OF ECU 
  11. IDENTIFICATION OF PROBLEM 
  12. REPAIR OR REPLACE 
  13. CONFIRMATION TEST*
