Heater Control Panel Removal/Installation

Remove the center panel (see CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the rear window defogger switch (see SWITCH TEST/REPLACEMENT ), and the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator (see PASSENGER'S AIRBAG CUTOFF INDICATOR ILLUMINATION BULB TEST ) from the center panel.
Remove the dials (A), then remove the self-tapping screws and the heater control panel (B).

Install the control panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Adjust the air mix control cable (see AIR MIX CONTROL CABLE ADJUSTMENT ), the mode control cable (see MODE CONTROL CABLE ADJUSTMENT ), and the recirculation control cable (see RECIRCULATION CONTROL CABLE ADJUSTMENT ).
- After installation, operate the control panel controls to see whether it works properly.
