Power Door Locks/Keyless

- Check for B-CAN DTCs. If any B-CAN DTCs are indicated, troubleshoot and resolve them first.
- If the door lock system and the keyless operation do not work, troubleshoot the door locks first.NOTE: The system does not function when the ignition switch is ON (II).SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

- Driver's door key cylinder switch test (see DOOR KEY CYLINDER SWITCH TEST )
- Door lock switch test (check the door switch ON/OFF information with the HDS)
- Door switch test (check the door switch ON/OFF information with the HDS)
- Door lock actuator test (see DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR TEST )
- MICU input test (see MICU )
- Door multiplex control unit input test (see DOOR MULTIPLEX CONTROL UNIT )
- Rear MICU input test (see REAR MICU )
- Check for UART line
- An open in the wire
- A short to ground in the wire
- A short to power in the wire
Driver's door will not lock or unlock with driver's door key cylinder or door lock switch or keyless transmitter - Poor ground (G401, G402)
- Blown No. C3 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box
- Blown No. C6 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box
- Door lock actuator test (see DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR TEST )
- MICU input test (see MICU )
- Door multiplex control unit input test (see DOOR MULTIPLEX CONTROL UNIT )
Front passenger's and right sliding doors will not lock or unlock with driver's door key cylinder or door lock switch or keyless transmitter - Poor ground (G401, G402)
- Blown No. C4 (7.5 A) and/or No. C5 (7.5 A) fuses in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box
- Blown No. C1 (7.5 A) and/or No. C2 (7.5 A) fuses in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box
- Door lock actuator test (see DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR TEST )
- MICU input test (see MICU INPUT TEST )
- Door multiplex control unit input test (see DOOR MULTIPLEX CONTROL UNIT )
Left sliding door will not lock or unlock - Door lock actuator test (see DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR TEST )
- Poor ground (G602, G801)
- Blown No. E4 (10 A) fuse in the rear fuse box
- Blown No. E5 (7.5 A) fuse in the rear fuse box
- Rear MICU input test (see REAR MICU )
