Tailgate Outer Handle Switch Test/Replacement: Replacement

Removal the tailgate lower trim panel (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TAILGATE AREA ).
Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the tailgate outer handle switch.

Remove the two nuts (A).

If equipped, disconnect the rearview camera 6P [12P] connector (B).

Replace the tailgate outer handle switch (A). A.

Install the new switch in the reverse order of removal.
