Ignition Key Light Test

Remove the steering column upper and lower covers (see COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSRALLATION ).
Disconnect the 6P connector (A).

The LED should come on when power is connected to terminal No. 1 and ground is connected to terminal No. 2.
If the LED does not come oh, the ignition key light is faulty; replace the steering lock (see STEERING LOCK REPLACEMENT ).
