DTC B2636: Vehicle Status Combination Error

NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
- Wait for at least 6 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B2636 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
- Select PARKING SENSOR from the BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SELECT menu, and enter the DATA LIST.
- Check for the GND/OPEN information of the V3 INPUT SWITCH in the DATA LIST.DATA LIST
Signal Value V7 Input Switch OPEN V6 Input Switch OPEN V5 Input Switch OPEN V4 Input Switch OPEN V3 Input Switch GND Is information indicator GND?
YES -Go to step 7.
NO -Repair an open or high resistance in the wire between the parking and back-up sensor control unit terminal No. 1 and body ground or poor ground (G402).
- Check for the GND/OPEN information of the V4, V5, V6 and V7 INPUT SWITCH in the DATA LIST.DATA LIST
Signal Value V7 Input Switch OPEN V6 Input Switch OPEN V5 Input Switch OPEN V4 Input Switch OPEN V3 Input Switch GND Are information indicator OPEN?
YES -Repair a short to ground in the wire between the right front corner sensor terminal No. 2 and left front corner sensor terminal No. 1.
NO -Replace the parking and back-up sensor control unit (see PARKING AND BACK-UP SENSOR CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST/REPLACEMENT ).
