F-CAN (Fast Controller Area Network) passes information between processors on the network. The F-CAN network uses a communication protocol that transmits data at 500 Kbps.
This diagnosis must have the engine running.
- If the F-CAN shows ERROR ACTIVE, error is not detected between F-CAN bus and the navigation unit. If any error is detected, check the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) for the F-CAN with the HDS (Honda Diagnostic System).
