Security System

The security system will arm automatically when the hood, hatch glass, and tailgate are closed, the key is removed from the ignition switch, and all of the doors are closed and locked.

The security system monitors the following signals:

• B-CAN Communication Lines
• Door Lock Knob Switches
• Door Switches
• Hatch Glass Latch Switch
• Ignition Key Switch
• Security Hood Switch
• Tailgate Latch Switch

When the security system is activated, the MICU sounds the horns and flashes the exterior lights for approximately 2 minutes. The security system can be deactivated by unlocking the driver's door with the Driver's Door Key Cylinder Switch or by pressing any button on the Keyless Transmitter.
