Brake Pedal Position Switch Test

'06-09 models

1. Disconnect the brake pedal position switch connector (A), and remove the switch (B).






2. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 of the brake pedal position switch connector. There should be continuity when the button (A) is pressed, and no continuity when the button is released.

3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 3 and No. 4. There should be continuity when the button is released, and no continuity when the button is pressed.

4. If the brake pedal position switch is faulty, replace it.
