Ambient Light Test/Replacement

'09-11 models with overhead console

1. Remove the front individual map light Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the interior light switch (B) and the 3P connector (C) from the map light (D).





3. Remove the interior light switch from the map light housing.

4. Connect battery power to terminal No. 4 and ground to terminal No. 5. The ambient light should come on. If the light does not come on, replace the ambient light.

5. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.
