Cool Box Control Motor Test

- Disconnect the 7P connector from the cool box control motor.NOTE: Incorrectly applying power and ground to the cool box control motor will damage it. Follow the instructions carefully.
- Connect battery power to terminal No. 7 of the cool box control motor, and ground either terminal No. 1 or terminal No. 3. The motor should run smoothly to the open position (terminal No. 1 connected to ground), or the shut position (terminal No. 3 connected to ground). Disconnect battery power immediately when the motor stops running.
- If the cool box control motor did not run in step 2 (see step 2
), remove it, then check the cool box control linkage and door for smooth movement.
- If the linkage and door move smoothly, replace the cool box control motor (see COOL BOX CONTROL MOTOR REPLACEMENT ).
- If the linkage or door sticks or binds, repair them as needed.
