Fuel Fill Pipe Removal/Installation
- Relieve the fuel pressure (see FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVING
).
- Drain the fuel tank (see FUEL TANK DRAINING
).
- Remove the fuel fill cap.
- Remove the left rear wheel.
- Remove the fuel fill pipe cover (A).

- Raise the vehicle on a lift.
- Remove the tank mount bracket (A).

- Disconnect the fuel fill hose (A), and the quick-connect fitting (fuel suction tube) (B).

- Remove the quick-connect fittings (A) (see FUEL LINE/QUICK-CONNECT FITTING REMOVAL
). Remove the clamp (B), then remove the non-return valve tube from the fuel fill pipe.

- Remove the bolts (A).

- Remove the fuel fill pipes (A).

- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
Before connecting the fuel fill pipe and the quick-connect fitting, check for dirt, and clean it if needed, taking care not to damage the fuel fill pipe and other parts.
