Voice Control Switch Replacement

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component location (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX ), and the precautions and procedures (see PRECAUTIONS AND PROCEDURES ) in the SRS section before doing repairs or service.

  1. Remove the driver's airbag assembly (see DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Remove the screws (A) and lids (B) from the steering wheel (C).

  3. Remove the screws (A) from the steering wheel.

  4. Disconnect the connectors (A) (CVT model) and the connector (B), then remove the steering wheel trim (C).

  5. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the screws and HFL-navigation voice control switch (B) from the steering wheel trim (C).

  6. Install the HFL-navigation voice control switch in the reverse order of removal.
