DTC C1000-94: ABS/VSA Activation Time Too Long

• 12 volt battery voltage 6.9 V or more

Operating Condition:

• 1.

  Start the engine.

• 2.

  Test-drive the vehicle at 32 mph (50 km/h) or more for 60 seconds or more under these conditions: (Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift. Be careful of the surrounding traffic conditions.)

• • Accelerator pedal pressed
  • Brake pedal released

• 1 drive cycle
• Brake system indicator on (Dependent upon the conditions)
• ABS indicator on

• Stop EBD function (Dependent upon the conditions)
• Stop ABS function

• Low air pressure in tires
• Damage or debris on the encoder surface
• Different diameter tires
• Wheel speed sensor failure
• ABS modulator-control unit internal failure
