DTC U3000-49: EPS Control Unit Internal Circuit Malfunction

• 12 volt battery voltage 8.0 - 17.5 V

Operating Condition:

• 1.

  Start the engine.

• 2.

  Turn the steering wheel to left and right several times, and keep holding each direction for 10 seconds.

• 1 drive cycle
• EPS indicator on

• Stop does not start EPS function/assist(Continue system diagnosis: EPS function/assist will return to normal when the system returns to normal)

• Motor/EPS control unit internal failure
