DTC 93-02; DTC 93-04: Check Upper and Lower Limit and Output of LKAS Unit/Multipurpose Camera Unit Instruction Electric Current

DTC (EPS (LKAS))
- 1. Problem verification:
1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
4. Test-drive the vehicle at 45 mph (72 km/h) or more for 2 minutes or more with the LKAS activated.
NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.
5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC Freeze Frame 93-02 Check Upper and Lower Limit of LKAS Unit/Multipurpose Camera Unit Instruction Electric Current 93-04 Check Output of LKAS Unit/Multipurpose Camera Unit Is DTC 93-02 or 93-04 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- 2. Multipurpose camera unit check (update):
1. Update the multipurpose camera unit if it does not have the latest software .
2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
3. Test-drive the vehicle at 45 mph (72 km/h) or more for 2 minutes or more with the LKAS activated.
NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.
4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC 93-02 or 93-04 indicated?
YES
Check for loose terminals in the multipurpose camera unit 20P connector. If the multipurpose camera unit was updated and the symptom/indication is still present, replace the multipurpose camera unit .
NO
Troubleshooting is complete. If any other DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
