DTC U129C-00: F-CAN Malfunction (EPS Control Unit-Driving Support System Control Unit) (With LKAS)

Confirmation Procedure Basic Condition:
  • 12 volt battery voltage 10 - 16 V
  • IG voltage continued more than 10 V for at least 1 second

Operating Condition:

  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Execution Regular Diagnosis
Duration Within 10 seconds
DTC Type
  • 1 drive cycle
  • EPS indicator off
Fail Safe Action
  • Does not start LKAS function/assist

*2: 5-door

*3: '19-212/4-door

Possible Cause
  • F-CAN lines failure
  • Multipurpose camera unit internal failure* 1
  • Millimeter wave radar internal failure* 2/* 3
  • CAN gateway internal failure
  • EPS motor/control unit internal failure
