Confirmation Procedure

Operating Condition 

• Start the engine. Hold the engine speed [ENGINE SPEED] at 3, 000 rpm without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on.
• Drive the vehicle at a steady speed of 12 mph (19 km/h) or more at a steady engine speed [ENGINE SPEED] between 1, 220 - 3, 300 rpm for at least 2 seconds

• Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.

With the HDS 

Select the VTEC+VCM TEST in the INSPECTION MENU, then select SOLENOID A of the SOL.V.ACTIVATION with the HDS.
