DTC C1022-14: Power Source Failure for Pump Motor

Confirmation Procedure Operating Condition:
  • 1.

    Start the engine, wait 20 seconds or more.
Execution Initial Diagnosis/Regular Diagnosis
Duration About 20 seconds
DTC Type
  • 1 drive cycle
  • Brake system indicator on
  • ABS indicator on
Fail Safe Action
  • Degrade EBD performance
  • Stop ABS function
Possible Cause
  • Open or Short to ground between the ABS modulator-control unit and the auxiliary under-dash fuse box (+B ABS/VSA MTR line)
  • Blown fuse (Auxiliary under-dash fuse box No. D1-4 (40 A))
  • ABS modulator-control unit internal failure
