Key Interlock Solenoid Test (Without Keyless Access System): Test

Key Interlock Solenoid - Test

1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

2. Disconnect the connector (A).

3. Turn the ignition switch to ACCESSORY (I).

4. Check the solenoid operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.

NOTE: To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

5. If the key interlock solenoid does not work properly, the key interlock solenoid is faulty; replace the steering lock (B).

1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
