DTC P0562: Battery Condition Monitor Module System Voltage Low
General Description
The battery condition monitor module monitors the voltage of back-up power supply. When the back-up power supply voltage is a specified voltage for a set time, a malfunction is detected and a DTC.

Malfunction Threshold
The back-up power supply voltage is 2.0 V or less for at least 2.0 seconds.

- Battery condition monitor module +B IGB line open (includes fuse blown)
- Battery condition monitor module internal circuit failure
Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the battery condition monitor module memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command.
