DTC P0453 (2020 2021): General Description

The fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor is installed on the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister and detects the fuel tank pressure. If the FTP sensor output voltage is higher than a prescribed value for a set time, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.
