ACC Combination Switch Removal, Installation, and Test: Test
- ACC Combination Switch - Test
ACC Combination Switch Internal Resistance Check:
- Measure the resistance between the ACC combination switch 12P connector (male terminals) terminals No. 3 and No. 10 according to the table.
If there is no resistance in one or more positions, replace the ACC combination switch.

Distance/LKAS Switch Internal Resistance Check:
- Measure the resistance between the ACC combination switch 12P connector (male terminals) terminals No. 4 and No. 10 according to the table.
If there is no resistance in one or more positions, replace the ACC combination switch.
DISTANCE/LKAS SWITCH INTERNAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONPosition Resistance at normal ambient temperature OFF (Released) 2.0-2.4 kΩ DISTANCE (Pressed and held) 401.8-491.0 Ω LKAS (Pressed and held) 21.3-26.1 Ω
Switch Illumination Circuit Check:
- Check the LED for illumination by applying power and ground to the terminals according to the table.NOTE: Important operating characteristic; diode bias cause a diode to fully conduct electricity in one direction (forward), while not at all in the opposite direction (reverse).
If the results are not as specified, replace the ACC combination switch.
- Measure the resistance between the ACC combination switch 12P connector (male terminals) terminals No. 3 and No. 10 according to the table.
