Keyless/Power Door Locks/Security System Description - Components

Door Lock Switches 

The door lock switches are integrated into one unit to the power window master switch and front passenger's power window switch.

Door Lock Knob Switch/Door Lock Actuator/Driver's Door Key Cylinder Switch 

The door lock knob switch, the door lock actuator, the door key cylinder switch are built into the door latch.

The door lock knob switch detects the lock and unlock states of the lock mechanism.

The door lock actuator moves to the lock and unlock position by output signals of the body control module.

The driver's door key cylinder switch is detects the lock and unlock states of the key cylinder switch.

Trunk Lid Opener Solenoid/Latch Switch 

The trunk lid opener solenoid/latch switch is built into the trunk lid latch. The body control module receives an ON signal from the

trunk lid outer handle switch, then the body control module outputs a signal to the trunk lid opener solenoid, and the trunk lid opener

solenoid open the trunk latch.

The trunk lid latch switch is the ON/OFF switch that detects the opening/closing of the trunk lid.

If the trunk lid opener solenoid is abnormal, the trunk lid may be opened manually with the opener lever.

The hood latch switch is built into the hood latch, and it detects the opening/closing of the hood.
