DTC P0070 : Outside Air Temperature Sensor A/B Correlation
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- For the outside temperature sensor circuit diagram, refer to the climate control system circuit diagram .

DTC (PGM-FI)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and wait 8 seconds.
-5. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC P0070 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at outside air temperature sensor A, outside air temperature sensor B, and the climate control unit. If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot .
- DTC check
-1. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

Are DTC P0071, P0072, P0073, P00DA, P00DB, or P00DC indicated?
YES
Go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting.
NO
Go to step 3.
- Outside air temperature sensor A check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Remove outside air temperature sensor A .
-3. Test outside air temperature sensor A .
Is the sensor OK?
YES
Replace the outside air temperature sensor B .
NO
