TPMS Symptom Troubleshooting Index(TPMS)

Symptom	Diagnostic procedure	Also check for
HDS does not communicate with the VSA modulator-control unit or the vehicle	Troubleshoot the DLC circuit .
TPMS cannot be calibrated	Symptom troubleshooting . Update the VSA modulator-control unit if it does not have the latest software . If the VSA modulator-control unit was updated and the symptom is still present, replace the VSA modulator-control unit .
TPMS warning is indicated	Check for VSA system DTCs . Check for the VSA indicator. If VSA indicator turns on, do the VSA system symptom troubleshooting "ABS indicator, brake system indicator (red), brake system indicator (amber), and VSA indicator do not go off" . Update the VSA modulator-control unit if it does not have the latest software . If the VSA modulator-control unit was updated and the symptom is still present, replace the VSA modulator-control unit .
Low tire pressure/TPMS indicator comes on	Check the tire size and tire pressure according to tire information. Make sure all four tires are the same brand/model, and have the same speed rating. Inspect all four tires for even wear. Do the TPMS calibration .
Low tire pressure/TPMS indicator does not come on when the tire pressure has decreased	See general troubleshooting information "condition for data rejection, and case TPMS can not operate normally" (Even if a system is normal, there is a possibility that cannot detect low tire pressure) . Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function . Do the TPMS calibration . Update the VSA modulator-control unit if it does not have the latest software . If the VSA modulator-control unit was updated and the symptom is still present, replace the VSA modulator-control unit .
